Monthly Demographic Report of Matera from 1 January 2023 to date

Description

The dataset summarizes the data recorded with the monthly movement and calculation in the year 2023 of the resident population relating to our municipality. It clearly shows a decline in births that has now been a constant since 2014, in fact the birth rate fell from 8.16 per thousand residents in 2013 to 5.82 recorded on 31.12.2022. On the other hand, the mortality rate in the same period increased from 7.96/1000 to 10.32/1000 on 31 December 2022. The data are a very up-to-date picture of the situation of our municipality, which is not very different from the national one.
