Home Services for the Elderly
Description
Today there is a massive increase in the demand for social health services by citizens motivated by a variety of factors: progressive aging of the population and consequent increase in chronicity, greater spread of discomfort, increase in social and economic inequalities, greater expectations of well-being. The constant attention of the social welfare aspects, with the provision of specific services, brings considerable benefits both for the user and for the entire community. In the past year, the aim was to increase the capacity to take charge of the territory, an alternative to the institutionalization of elderly people through the SAD service (Home Care Service) which provides for the presence of an OSS operator and ADI service (Integrated Home Care) which provides for both the presence of an OSS operator and that of a nurse.
