Description
The Emporio Solidale (food bank) is part of the socio-economic support actions and represents an important opportunity in favor of the families of the Social Territorial Area of Lecce contributing to the promotion of the social well-being of all citizens through the distribution of basic necessities (food products).
The Social Territorial Area of Lecce signed the Agreement with the Emmanuel Community on 23.06.2015 and Italian and foreign families residing in the territory of the Area, in possession of certain requirements, were identified as recipients of the interventions and benefits, provided by the Emporium, through the issue of a card that allowed them to stock up on the goods. For each municipality belonging to the Area, a number of cards has been recognized based on the number of resident population.
