Zone T historic center

The so-called "T" is located in the heart of the historic center of Bologna, in an area of great tourist and monumental interest that is also one of the most lively commercial areas of the city. Its name derives precisely from its geographical conformation, as the three roads represent, seen in plan, an upside-down T. The ‘T’ area includes:via Rizzoli (except the semi-carriageway that leads from Via Calzolerie to Piazza della Mercanzia)via Ugo Bassi (except the semi-carriageway that leads from Piazza Malpighi to Via Testoni and the one that leads from Via Nazario Sauro to Via Marconi)via Indipendenza (from the intersection with Ugo Bassi and Rizzoli to the intersection with Righi and Falegnami)The ‘T’ is controlled, 24 hours a day, by the RITA remote control system.
