Circulating vehicles by type

The dataset collects the annual data, for each municipality of the metropolitan area of Bologna, of the vehicles circulating in the name of the residents.The data are sorted according to the type of "vehicle class" (buses, trucks for the transport of goods, special vehicles, cars, motorcycles and quadricycles for the transport of goods, motorcycles, motorcycles and special quadricycles, road tractors/motors).The annual data files are released thanks to an agreement signed between the Municipality of Bologna and the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI) and come from the database of the Public Automotive Register (PRA).The aforementioned agreement expired in 2018. The data of the following years are extracted from the opendata portal of the Emilia Romagna Region (see).With the new agreement with ACI, the extracted data have a different structure and refer only to vehicles.
