Detail of loan service of Municipal Libraries

Description

The dataset shows the annual detail of the loan service in the Municipal Libraries. The name and type of the municipal library are shown; the city district and the location of the structure; the book assets held as at 31/12/2021; the result of the management of the book loan reserved for members of municipal libraries, in the following types of service:1. local loans: loan requests for documents (books, CDs, DVDs, magazines) made in person by the user in the library of the metropolitan library system that owns them2. home loans: loan requests for documents held by the reference library and delivered free of charge to the user's home3. interlibrary loans: requests for loan of documents not owned by any library of the metropolitan library system, but by another library in Italy or abroad 4. intersystem loans: loan requests for documents not owned by one's own reference library, but by another library in the metropolitan library system
