Ciclovia del Sole - route

Description

The "Cyclovia del Sole" is a planned cycle route that starts in the North Cape and ends in Valletta. It crosses eight countries: Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Italy.The cycle route published in this dataset is a part of the Italian section inaugurated in April 2021. The beginning of the cycle path is indicated in via Sabotino in the municipality of Bologna and winds for about 50 km to the municipality of Mirandola. The Bologna-Osteria Nuova section is a temporary route along low-traffic roads. The final route will pass along the Rhine River, the wooded area north of the airport and will cross the municipality of Calderara di Reno.
