Small gardens in the area of the city of Braunschweig
Description
In Braunschweig there are currently about 7,800 managed gardens with an average size of 350 to 400 square meters on a total area of almost 400 hectares, which are organised in 104 clubs in the Landesverband Braunschweig der Gartenfreunde e.V.. As a lessor, the City of Brunswick leases the municipal land to the Landesverband as a tenant for exclusively gardening use with the right of underlease to the Kleingärtnerverein and another sublet to the small gardeners.
