Brake testing system

Description

The brake test system allows a semi-automated check of the brakes. The system includes off-road equipment: brake tester, correct couplings and correct atmospheric pressure. In the case of brake test systems, the identification number, type, owner, date of entry into service, condition/additional information and state of use (in use, not in use, not known) as well as location-related track identification, track-kilometre location and location estimation shall be provided. The brake testing system is part of the services and equipment of the railway yard. The data cover railways owned by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data source system is the Track Object Management Application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Information Management System.
