This article deals with proposals for measures and long-term action strategies to minimise existing environmental deficits in the area of Enns, which forms the sensitive backbone of the Gesäuse National Park. In the end, not only is it intended to prevent deterioration, but also to improve the habitat on the Enns. Three case studies are intended to document the natural space management of the Gesäuse National Park on the Ennsufer.
