Naturdenkmale Landkreis Nordsachsen – Areas
Description
The metadata record describes all legally binding individual creations of nature or corresponding areas up to five hectares whose special protection is required.
1.
for scientific, natural or national reasons, or
2.
because of their rarity, peculiarity or beauty. (Section 28(1) of the Federal Nature Conservation Act).
Currently, there are in the Lkr. North Saxony 102 areas with a total area of approximately 2.25 square kilometres designated.
Historically, the data came from the Leipzig Government Office, the State Environmental Office as well as the districts of Delitzsch and Torgau-Oschatz.
The Landratsamt Nordsachsen (Landratsamt Nordsachsen) as the Lower Nature Conservation Authority is responsible for the revision/expulsion.
