Description
Description of the scope of the regional flood defences
This scope indicates the location of the non-primary (regional) flood defences as referred to in Article 3.1 of the Zeeland Environmental Ordinance. That article lays down standards (ambient values) for the flood safety of regional flood defences. In addition, the subdivision into the categories of regional flood defences A, B and C is shown. For category B, lower limits for crown height are included, as described in Article 3.1(3) of the Environmental Regulation.
Use as map attachment and information object This metadata record is used within the Zeeland Environmental Ordinance for two purposes:
1.The map appendix shows the location of the primary flood defences, including dike sections A, B and C.
2. As an information object
