Description
Digital vectorial dataset of the tertiary geological maps of Flanders and Brussels, published by the Ministry of the Flemish Community/Flemish Government, Dept LNE (ALBON) in collaboration with the Belgian Geological Service (BGD). The tertiary geological map shows the tertiary formations that come to the surface under the pre-quartar erosion plane. The legend of the map is lithostratigraphic. (https://www.dov.vlaanderen.be/page/neogene-and-paleogene) The tertiary geological map was compiled by the universities of Ghent and Leuven between 1989 and 2001.
