LAPRO2009 — conversion of arable to permanent grassland
Description
The use of arable land in the valley meadows is a conflict area of flowing waters both for reasons of erosion protection and due to the nutrient input. The landscape program Saarland provides indications of arable land in the meadows. The conversion of these land into permanent grassland should be sought from the point of view of nature conservation. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 5.7. (Stand: June 2009)
