Assessment of potential water erosion hazards in accordance with Annex 3 of the CAP Conditionalities Regulation (CAPCondV) GAEC 5 (WMS Service)
Description
This map shows the draft designation of the potential risk of erosion by water in accordance with Section 16, Annex 3 of the CAP Conditionalities Regulation at field block level for the federal states of Lower Saxony, Bremen and Hamburg.
The calculation of the potential water erosion hazard is carried out on a grid level by multiplying soil erosion factor, rain factor and slope inclination and assuming a flat slope inclination factor. The classification of the field block into an erosion hazard class is based on the formation of the arithmetic mean of all grid cells with their center in the field block.
Due to EU requirements (basic management requirement (GAB) of the CAP Conditionalities Regulation), all agricultural land (field blocks) must be classified in water and wind erosion hazard classes. The classification is uniform throughout Germany on the existing regulations DIN 19706 for wind erosion and 19708 for water erosion. The criteria of conditionality levels (CStufen) have been chosen in such a way that measures are only prescribed for very high-risk areas (field blocks). Two hazard classes (KWasser1 and KWasser2) are identified for water erosion and a hazard class (KWind) for wind erosion.
