G3Dv2_0103_Q_Me, base Fm of Merksplas
Description
This layer represents the base (mTAW) of the Merksplas Formation. The sandy sandy sediments from this formation are rather tabularly deposited in an estuarine to shallow marine environment. The Geological 3D model was drawn up in the framework of the management agreement of the Flemish government with VITO, under the name VLAKO, on behalf of the department LNE - Department of Land and Soil Protection, Subsurface, Natural Resources.
