Most teenagers, after graduating from a general education school, attend a vocational school. On the one hand, you can prepare yourself for a job. On the other hand, they have the opportunity to acquire general degrees – from the secondary school diploma to the Abitur. Technical schools also enable further professional development (technician, master).
