Description

This file contains the demarcations of the sub-units (SU) for the Scheldt and the Meuse as reported to the European Commission in implementation of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) 2000/60/EC. In addition to the reporting at the level of river basin districts, information is also reported at the level of sub-units. This unit is theoretically a sub-area of large European river basin districts. Due to the limited size of Flanders in the European context, the demarcation of the sub-units is identical to that of the river basin districts.
