Levels of quality of service in public transport

Description

Service quality levels are an indicator of public transport service. Depending on the rate of service of a public transport stop and the type of transport serving it, the area adjacent to it is assigned a level of service quality. The further a zone away from the stop, the lower its level of service. The levels of service quality thus make it possible to define places which by the high level of service in public transport have a high potential for development. This data is available as an indication and does not, in itself, have legal values. The levels of service quality in public transport are calculated for each stop in accordance with the criteria of the cantonal master plan (https://geo.fr.ch/pdcantc/pdcantsvc.svc/pdf/theme/t201/fr/actuel) Note that as part of the assignment of a quality level to the building area, a more detailed analysis of the accessibility of stops by pedestrians must be carried out. Service quality levels are updated each year, following the publication of the new public transport schedule for the current year. The quality of service can therefore change if the location and/or pace of some stops have been changed.
