Description
Indicator for monitoring and evaluating the concentration of chlorophyll-a from images obtained by the OrbView-2 and AQUA series satellites. The determination of chlorophyll-a concentrations is one of the key indices of monitoring the phytoplankton population and the health of our natural system. In addition, the measurement of chlorophyll-a can be used as an instrument for monitoring eutrophication processes.
