Inventory of Moving Phenomena in Italy (IFFI)
Description
####The dataset consists of the shp-files of landslides recorded in Umbria by the IFFI inventory (Inventory of landslides in Italy), the first territorial information system at national level, created by ISPRA and the Regions and Autonomous Provinces, which provides a complete and updated picture of the distribution of landslides in Italy, according to standardised procedures.
The inventory recorded 34,545 landslides in Umbria, covering an area of approximately 651 km2, or 8.9% of the hilly-mountain area.
The data are updated to 2017 for some landslides in the municipalities of Acquasparta, Alviano, Castel Ritaldi, Città della Pieve, Città di Castello, Collazzone, Deruta, Ficulle, Foligno, Fratta Todina, Gualdo Tadino, Gubbio, Lisciano Niccone, Lugnano in Teverina, Magione, Monteleone d’Orvieto, Narni, Orvieto, Parrano, S. Anatolia di Narco, Scheggino, Stroncone and Umbertide.
The IFFI inventory was approved as the main reference document for instability on the slopes of the Umbria Region by Regional Executive Decision No 384 of 29 April 2013.

The data available, relating to the “IFFI” landslides in the Umbrian territory, are composed of three different shp-files: one contains the landslide polygons (movement types 0 to 8), another contains the landslide areal polygons (movement types 9 to 11) and another includes the identification points of all polygons (PIFF); landslides of less than one hectare are represented only by the PIFF.

The attached legend explains the meaning of the identification numbers of the type of landslide. From the shp-files it is possible to know the area extent of the landslide and its type, identified with numbers from 0 to 11, while for further alphanumeric data please refer to the IFFI Project - On-line Cartography, of the Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale (ISPRA), at the following address http://193.206.192.136/cartanetiffi, on the website www.isprambiente.gov.it
