Estonian weather and climate data (CLIDATA)
Description
Physical conditions in the atmosphere. Includes spatial data resulting from measurements and modelling or a combination of the two methods. Weather conditions and their measurement; air pressure, air temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, average wind speed and direction, duration of sunshine.
Climate norms, or long-term averages, calculated from a series of data of a certain length for specific observation stations. The timeliness of the series is agreed, and 30-year series have become the global standard, hence the reference period for this dataset – 1991-2020.
The previous period of climate norms was 1981-2010.
