Topographical database 1:10.000
Description
This vector database (under construction) with topographical basic information has a topological structure and is divided into ten layers (coverages). Developed for cartography at scale 1/10,000 but suitable for any application in the scale domain from 1/5,000 to 1/20,000. Contains the following information: road network, railway network, energy network, hydrography, buildings, vegetation, administrative units, intersection of traffic routes, point elements. This database in two dimensions (without height) identifies each point of the Belgian territory. This file is not yet available for the entire territory of Belgium, an up-to-date overview can be found on the NGI website (http://www.ngi.be) under the description of the products.
