Species protection management areas, Condition 08/08/2023
Description
Species protection management areas include the meadow bird species management area, the farmland bird species management area, the hamster management area, the grey harrier management area, the brown harrier management area, the summer tortoise management area, the camel salamander management area, the hazel mouse management area, the garlic toad management area, the midwife toad management area, the tree frog management area, the grey shrike management area, the brook shot management area, the river bottom toad and small mud crawler management area, and the grassland management area. These are always the areas that offer the greatest potential for the species or group of species in question. Within these species protection management areas, management agreements can be concluded - as stipulated by Ministerial Decree - for the objectives of species protection, buffering and connecting and the maintenance of small landscape features. Guides are given to the ecological needs of the species or species group.
