Birdwatching towers in Southwest Finland and Ekenäs
Description
The data includes birdwatching towers in Southwest Finland and the Ekenäs sub-region. The data sources are Jan Södersved’s work Bird Towers (2005, WSOY) and the National Land Survey of Finland’s terrain database. The location data of the birdwatching towers has been digitised based on the information in the Bird Towers book. Information on a few sites (Isokari, Rihtniemi, Aneriojärvi) has been retrieved from the terrain database.
The data have been transferred from the southwest data portal.
