Description
This data series describes the existence of compensation areas resulting from the intervention regulation under nature conservation law in accordance with §14 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (BNatSchG) in conjunction with §9 of the Saxon Nature Conservation Act (SächsNatSchG). The KISS technical procedure serves to exercise the technical supervision of the Saxon road construction administration with regard to road-related interventions in nature and landscape (intervention regulation) and is at the same time the working basis for compensation area management (organisation of permanent maintenance with functional controls). The input and maintenance of the data is carried out by the Saxon Road Construction Administration. The KoKa-Nat technical procedure serves the Saxon nature conservation authorities as an instrument for recording, monitoring, managing and documenting intervention compensation measures as well as nature conservation measures in accordance with the Saxon ÖKoVO (eco-account measures). The data can be filed in MapInfo or Shape format.
