Compensation measures information system/compensation area cadastre Saxony

Description

This series of data describes the stock of compensation areas resulting from the nature protection regulation pursuant to §14 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (BNatSchG) in conjunction with §9 Sächsisches Naturschutzgesetz (SächsNatSchG). The technical procedure KISS serves to exercise the specialist supervision of the Saxon Road Construction Administration with regard to road-construction-related interventions in nature and landscape (intrusion regulation) and at the same time forms the basis for work for the compensation area management (organisation of permanent maintenance with functional controls). The data is entered and maintained by the Saxon Road Construction Administration. The special procedure KoKa-Nat serves the Saxon nature protection authorities as a tool for recording, monitoring, managing and documenting intervention compensation measures as well as nature protection measures according to SächsÖKoVO (eco-account measures). Data submission can be done in MapInfo or Shape format.
