Estonian register of farm animals (spatial data set)
Description
Data on identified farm animals, places of keeping animals and approved slaughterhouses and establishments handling animal waste shall be entered in the register of farm animals. The purpose of collecting this data is to prevent and eradicate infectious diseases in animals and to protect humans from diseases common to and transmitted by animals. The registration of farm animals in the national register is one of the prerequisites for the payment of animal-related support.
