Priority works eels in Poitou-Charentes
Description
From 2009 onwards, France has put in place an eel management plan. This plan is part of the recovery objective set by the European Regulation of 18 September 2007. As the obstacles to the eel population are impacting, both in the run-up and in the downhill, one of the actions of this plan is to identify priority areas for the eel. The aim is to make them transparent by 2015.
