Description
Sat-SKOG is an overview map of the forest resources and provides information on wood species, volume and age. The interpretation is based on image data from the Earth observation satellites Landsat 5 and -7. The images are compiled with samples from Landsskogtaksering, map data from AR5 and the terrain model DTM. Volume lauv is the total volume summed over all the lauv trees on one area. In SAT-SKOG we have chosen to show maps with three volume classes
