REDIAM. WMS HIC 92D0-1 Tamujares (Securinegion buxifoliae)
Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 92D0-1 characterized by Tamujares (Securinegion buxifoliae). Composed of shrub riparian communities dominated by the tamujo (Flueggea tinctoria), Iberian endemism of the stony siliceous beds of the sudocciedental zone of the peninsula. Tamujares usually have a not very high coverage, usually less than 75%, although sometimes it can be very dense. Its average height is usually around 2 meters. In addition to tamujo, other shrubs and lianas such as oleander (Nerium oleander), wild vine (Vitis vinifera subsp. sylvestris), bush (Rubus ulmifolius) or various species of roses (Rosa spp.) are present in this community, although these species appear with a very low percentage of presence, clearly dominated by tamujo. It is also common the presence of species typical of climatophilic contact formations, such as the lentiscus (Pistacia lentiscus). Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network.
