Description
Replacement measures in nature and landscape protection. The design of buildings and plants can lead to unavoidable interventions in protected habitats. The Federal Act on the Protection of Nature and Homeland (NHG) requires that, in the case of technical interventions in protected habitats, the polluter undertakes protection, restoration or appropriate replacement measures in consideration of all interests. The natural value should be the same after the procedure as before (zero balance).
