Delimitation of near-surface groundwater bodies according to the Framework Directive in Upper Austria; 1.Horizon
A water body is a coherent sub-unit of a river basin district to meet the environmental objectives of the Water Framework Directive (WFD). Each river basin consists of numerous water bodies.
There are three horizons available in DORIS:
1. Horizon: near-surface GW bodies
2. Horizon: thermal GW Body
3. Horizon: deeper GW body
