Description
A track cross is a gear type where the tracks cross each other in the same plane. The track cross has no moving parts and there is no possibility to change/exchange tracks.
A track cross is functionally seen as a gear type but in data terms it lacks the function of the track switch as a node in the reference network.
The data product has a point spread and connects to the network with reference to the nearest previous node and nearest previous kilometre board, with distance in meters in the direction of the track link. The position of the crossing is indicated for the intended centre of the crossing.
