Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders - Current heat production from specific biomass streams
Description
This map layer is part of the Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders. This map layer is based on the VREG list of green electricity production installations for biomass, version 3/03/2016. This includes installations that only produce electricity and installations that produce both electricity and heat (or CHP installations). Biomass plants producing only heat are therefore not part of this map. General key figures are usually used to estimate production. However, for larger production plants and waste incinerators, maximum use was made of actual production figures (e.g. from annual reports). Moreover, only the renewable share of production is included in the Energy Atlas. The figures per municipality can also be consulted in the attached table.
