Vahti Guide 2008/09 Project Information Security Instructions
Description
This guide serves as a project information security handbook and summarises the core elements of the project’s information security. The guidelines are written from the perspectives of central government, but it is also applicable to other organisations. The guide emphasises the perspectives of management, project leader’s responsibility and information security planning. As regards the project management process, it must be ensured that the level of information security and risk management meets the objectives set for them and that sufficient resources are reserved for the information security functions.
The guidelines have been prepared under the responsibility and guidance of the Government Information Security Management Board, VAHTI. The Vahti decided to publish the instructions at its meeting in November 2008. (7.9.2011)
