Brighouse Ward

Description

The Brighouse ward dataset includes the ward map; demographic profile; Public Health England local health report; Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) factsheet; Public health data; a ward hex map; and primary and secondary school census data. Brighouse is the most easterly ward in Calderdale. It includes the town centre and the built up area of the town to the north of the River Calder. In the west are wooded hillside and stone quarries above Brookfoot. A large industrial and business park, the residential area of Clifton and countryside are in the east of the ward. Brighouse has direct access to the M62 and a railway station, providing easy access to Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield.
