The number of eligible voters, the voter turnout in %, the number of invalid ballot papers and the number of valid votes in total and for selected parties (SPD, CDU, FDP, GRÜNE, Die Linke, DVU, NPD, REP, AFB, BIW and others). Eligible to the Advisory Council elections in the territory of the city of Bremen (municipal election) are all Germans and EU citizens who are eligible to vote for citizenship in the respective advisory board area. who have reached the age of 16 on election day, 22 May 2011 (last date of birth: 22 May 1995), for at least 3 months, i.e. no later than 22 February 2011, in the premises of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (Land Bremen), or, if they do not have an apartment in the Federal Republic of Germany, normally reside in the Federal Republic of Germany, are not excluded from the right to vote under Paragraph 2 of the Bremen Electoral Act (BremWahlG). Under the same conditions as Germans, nationals of the other 26 Member States of the European Union (Union citizens) may also take part in the election to citizenship in the Bremen elective area since 1999. However, their right to vote applies exclusively to the composition of city citizenship. The Bremen Statistical Office is responsible for the official statistics of the State of Bremen. Central tasks are the collection, preparation, evaluation and publication of the statistics ordered by law or regulation.
At the same time, the Bremen Statistical Office fulfils the functions of the Municipal Statistical Office for the City of Bremen.
This means that data and information will also be prepared and made accessible for the small-scale administrative and planning units of the city.
