Description
On March 31, 2008, EPA conducted an NPDES compliance evaluation inspection of the Utulei Petroleum Terminal, Tank Farm, and Fuel Dock (“American Samoa Terminal”), which is operated under lease by British Petroleum (“BP”), South-West Pacific, Limited. The purpose was to ensure compliance with the NPDES permit and applicable Federal regulations covering the discharge of non-domestic wastewaters and storm water run-off into waters of the United States. A secondary purpose was also to identify and verify the conditions to be in future NPDES permits.
