Of these, the indicated location in the dataset is reliable but it is difficult to say anything about completeness. Nevertheless, the municipality chooses to offer them as open data. The Geo-information department of the Municipality of The Hague makes the topographic map of The Hague, officially called: Basic registration Large-scale Topography (BGT). The BGT is mainly kept on the basis of mutation reports. The building permit process indicates when a building is ready for construction. The management processes roads, greenery and trees have a similar process indicating where the BGT needs to be updated. In addition, every year 1/3 of The Hague is checked by a surveyor who goes on foot. Everything is taken into account, from hedgerow to fire hydrant, from tree to streetlight. So there is a 3-year cycle in which the whole city is explored.
