BLM Montana Dakotas GRSG DEIS RMPA Planning Area

Description

Polygon depicts the Montana/Dakotas merged planning area in the Greater Sage-Grouse EIS RMP Amendment. This feature class represents the product of merge and dissolve operations in ArcGIS with the inputs being the individually submitted EIS boundary datasets. EIS boundaries were developed by each individual EIS in coordination with the Division of Decision Support, Planning and NEPA (WO 210). EIS boundary submissions occurred between Sept. 25th and Sept. 30th, 2013. The following EIS boundaries are included in the dataset: Billings/Pompey's Pillar NM, HiLine, SW Montana, Lewistown, Miles City, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Upper Missouri River Breaks NM.
