Nature- Vulnerable areas Ammonia and Livestock Act (WAV)
Description
The Ammonia and Livestock Act (WAV) has defined vulnerable and very vulnerable areas. On the basis of the law, the Provincial Council has designated highly sensitive areas. These are areas that are sensitive to acidification and/or fertilisation that are part of the provincial EHS. In a zone of 250 meters around the very sensitive areas, restrictions apply to (intensive) livestock farms. Adopted by PS on 1 July 2009; Subsequently, there were amendments adopted by PS on 16 December 2009 and 16 February 2011.
