Description
The data series ‘Planned Land Use Aachen’ summarises the three data sets ‘Legal Binding Development Plans Aachen’, ‘Legal Binding Maintenance and Design Statutes Aachen’ and ‘Aachen Land Use Plan’. This implements the requirements of ‘D2.8.III.4 INSPIRE Data Specification on Land Use – Technical Guidelines’. 1) The data set ‘Legal Binding Development Plans Aachen’ provides the geographical scope of the legally binding development plans (B-Plans) of the City of Aachen in accordance with §2 (1) and §10 (3) of the Building Code (Baugesetzbuch – BauGB) in geographical form. 2) The data set "Legal Maintenance and Design Statutes Aachen" contains the territorial scope of all legally effective Aachen statutes, which fall under § 172 (1) in conjunction with §16 (2) and §10 (2) of the Building Code (BauGB) or § 86 (1), (2) and (3) of the State Building Code (BauO NRW). 3) The data set ‘Land Use Plan Aachen’ reflects the scope of the legally effective Land Use Plan of the City of Aachen drawn up in 2022 in geographical form. The Land Use Plan (FNP) is drawn up on the basis of §2 (1) and §6 (5) of the Building Code (BauGB) under the project name ‘AACHEN*2030’. In the ‘INSPIRE View Service Aachen’, the data series is presented as a layer ‘Land Use – Spatial Plan’. The three datasets are published under an Open Data license (CC BY-ND 4.0). In the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, there is a statutory publication obligation for all three data sets in accordance with the provisions of the INSPIRE Directive and the Geodata Access Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. The data fall under the topic of "land use" from Annex III of the INSPIRE Directive.
