Flooding - Vulnerability of vulnerable objects after dike breach (2019)
Description
This map shows the vulnerability of objects to the most conceivable flooding as a result of breakthroughs by both the primary and regional water systems.
The maximum water depth from the maps 'flood image primary' and 'flood image regional' has been compared with the floor level per object. This floor level is derived from the AHN2 and AHN3 (height around the object). If the maximum water depth is higher than the floor level, there is a risk of influx of water, and therefore damage to the object. The following classification is made on the basis of the height of the water against the facade of the object in the event of a flood:
No water depth against facade (Object is not vulnerable);
Tussen 0 en 0,2 meter waterdiepte tegen gevel (Voordat het water naar binnen stroomt moet het de drempel over.);
Tussen 0,2 en 0,5 meter waterdiepte tegen gevel (Stopcontacten zitten vaak op 30 centimeter boven de drempel);
Tussen 0,5 en 2,0 meter waterdiepte tegen gevel;
Meer dan 2,0 meter waterdiepte tegen gevel.
The locations of the vulnerable objects are outdated via the Risk Map and linked to a building. If the location of a vulnerable object could not be linked to a BAG building, a search was made for a building in a circumference of 50 meters around the vulnerable object. For vulnerable objects that lie outside these 50 meters, the water depth against facade could not be determined and have the classification: Not vulnerable/other.
