Water balance sizes for water sections and catchment areas series 1991-2020
Description
The determination of the water balance parameters was carried out on the basis of a spatial and temporal
high-resolution precipitation-flow modeling. The construction of a nationwide model was carried out in 2004 with the ArcEGMO model system.
For the available data, the model system has been further developed and the time series used has been extended until 2020. The Brandenburg State Office for the Environment (LfU) provided the following data bases for the update:
— Water network wnet25 (version 4.1; Status: 2015)
— Lakes (version 4.1 Stand: 2015)
— Aboveground catchment areas ezg25 (version 4.0; Status: 2014)
— Regnie data (precipitation data in grid format) for the period 1991 to 2020
— Continuation of the drain rows for a total of 135 levels in the model area, of which 20
largely unaffected river basins for model validation and for 5 river basins
on model adjustment for the period 1991 to 2020
The water balance variables are in their spatial resolution to the hydrological
Catchment areas and the corresponding sections of water.
