Water balance variables for watersheds and river basins Series 1991 -2020

Description

The calculation of the water balance variables was carried out on the basis of a spatial and temporal high-resolution precipitation runoff modelling. The construction of a nationwide model was carried out in 2004 with the model system ArcEGMO. For the existing database, the model system has been further developed and the time series used have been extended until 2020. The following data bases were provided by the State Office for the Environment Brandenburg (LfU) for the update: - net of water25 (version 4.1; Status: 2015) - Lakes (version 4.1 status: 2015) - Surface catchment areas ezg25 (version 4.0; Status: 2014) - REGNIE data (precipitation data in grid format) for the period 1991 to 2020 - Continuation of the outflow series for a total of 135 levels in the model area, of which 20 are largely unaffected river basins for model validation and for 5 river basins on the model adjustment for the period 1991 to 2020 The spatial resolution of the water balance variables is based on the hydrological river basins and their associated watersheds.
