Description
A towpath or towpath is a (unpaved) path along a towpath that was used to pull tow barges forward. In the 18th and 19th centuries, migratory cruises were built between old Dutch cities. In addition to the towpath, a towpath was constructed. The pulling of barges on these paths was called hunting. Usually it was hunted by a horse with a companion, but sometimes it also happened with manpower.
