This list was generated by an ArcGIS intersection between natural regions and subregions of Alberta (2005) and Alberta Conservation Information System (ACIMS) Element Occurrence data. ACIMS actively collects information and processes Element Occurrences for tracked and watched species because they are Elements for which limited information is currently available or current information suggests these elements are rare/of conservation concern due to threats to populations or habitats or documented declines. Note that only tracked Elements that have mapped Element Occurrences are documented by natural subregion here.
