Wheel profile measuring device

Description

A wheel profile measuring device is a device that uses a laser to measure a wheel profile. For wheel profile measuring devices, the name, system, model, manufacturer, date of entry into service, location and status of operation of the central unit (in use, not in use, not known) as well as the location name, location track identification, line-kilometre location and line number related to the location shall be provided. The equipment is part of the rolling stock monitoring equipment. The data cover railways owned by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data source system is the Track Object Management Application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Information Management System. The material is updated once a week.
