Agricultural statistics – Farming Register
Description
The Statistics Sweden’s Agricultural Register (LBR) and the agricultural/agricultural bills contain data on farms that were collected annually through the postal survey up to the end of the 1990s.
On behalf of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, Statistics Sweden had, in the 1990s, recalculated all data at parish level into the 1992 administrative division. In this way, data from the registers are comparable over time and can be linked to a vector layer over the 1992 parish classification. At present, fields and pastures have been added and can be shown as change maps for the period 1951 to 1995. The aim is to provide a quick overview of where in the country or regional changes occurred and in a dissolution at parish level. Agricultural statistics contain a large number of variables.
